The 2010 WYD Song Contest was held on Saturday, 27th February, 2010 at the Salesian Oratory in Sliema with the participation of seven Christian Bands, namely: Altaer, Footprints, His Project, Rise, StageCraft, The Cross and The Prophecy. The turnout for this Contest was fantastic with the Salesian Theatre at maximum capacity and the crowd cheering throughout the band’s peformances.
The awards of this edition of the Contest were as follows:
Best Lyrics – His Project with their song ‘Mgħallem Urini’
Best Interpretation – Footprints with their song ‘Nistaqsi…’
Best Song for WYD 2010 – Rise with their song ‘Għażiż Għalliem’
