The best songs from the last three contests have been recorded at Doyaya Studios by Boris Cezek and are to be issued in a compilation that will be a first for a number of reasons. It is the fruit of a long and winding journey; it features the largest
number of Christian bands in one CD; a mixture of Maltese and English songs; Christian songs in a fresh and contemporary style; it is a compilation that will make a difference. The launch of the awakening asaph compilation was held on Friday 27th June, 2008 at the Salesians’, Sliema with a concert featuring all the songs in the compilation. The awakening asaph compilation will be the first step that will help awaken the spirit of asaph; contemporary music being the link between man and God.
